On December 2, the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs presided over by Vladimir Vardanyan continued.

The legislative package on Making Addenda and Amendments to the law on Public Service, worked out by the Civil Service of the Prime Minister’s Staff by the RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Rafik Grigoryan was debated.

The Head of the Civil Service Office Garush Davtyan has noted that in the future it is designed to have military and civil services.

In their speeches the deputies highlighted the necessity of the initiative. The legislative package was endorsed.

The Committee also endorsed the draft law on Making Addendum to the constitutional law on Constitutional Court (CC) and the enclosed package of draft laws authored by the Government.

The RA NA deputy Suren Grigoryan has underlined that the CC being deconstructive body that it answers to an agenda which is merely political.

The bill on Amending the RA law on the Service in the National Security Bodies and the enclosed package of bills authored by the RA NA Bright Armenia Faction was debated in the second reading and received negative conclusion.
